Washington Does Not Use Point System

Washington state does not use a point system for traffic violations, but instead records each moving violation on your driving record. If you accumulate 6 moving violations within 12 months, the state will suspend your license for a limited period of time and each subsequent violation carries additional harsher penalties.
For insurance purposes, traffic tickets stay on your record for 3 years and cannot be removed. Courts and law enforcement normally can see all infractions, whether moving or non-moving on a record for a much longer period of time and cannot be removed.
Also keep in mind that employers, insurance companies, and the courts can request a copy of your driving record at any time. If you continue to add violations to your driving record, this could result in not only higher insurance rates but also potential job opportunities.
