Colorado Studying Marijuana Detection Device

The Washington State Patrol is monitoring their brethren in Colorado, where officials are testing new technology to detect marijuana. Washington law enforcement currently do not have a device to detect pot or other drugs. Aside from visual clues, officers rely on blood tests to measure THC and other substances in a person system, which requires a warrant. Colorado officials are currently studying transdermal applications to detect marijuana consumed by a person but this technology is still being studied
