New DUI Breath Test Machine in Play

Our state’s inventory of old DataMaster breath test machines are outdated and parts are no longer being manufactured. In September, 2008 our state formally chose the Draeger 9510 was the eventual winner. However, rolling out the machines has been slow and arduous, due in part to litigation by the machines manufacturers.

By simply looking at the breath test ticket, one of the biggest changes is the use of dual technology used with each breath sample. So instead of two breath samples shown on the breath ticket, there will now be four.
